Event-Sourcing the Port of Rotterdam

At the Port of Rotterdam we have recently made the transition to Event-Sourcing in our core domain; the registration process of ships visiting the harbor. Event-sourcing can be intimidating to start with. When you understand its power it’s a great tool to have. It will allow you to travel back in time and answer any question about the past. I will show you how we made the transition, the mistakes we made and how you can avoid them.
